In the light of Diversity and Inclusion, the University of Amsterdam held applications to visualize the diversity of student backgrounds that are not seen.
‘Zij zonder naam’ got selected in the exposition, and is there for everyone that lost their voice. Several students already recognized themselves in the painting and are happy that there is ‘space’ for them on the university.
‘Zii zonder naam’ is about breaking isolation and taboo, which is neccesary if people go through a process where they need to protect themselves from caring for others.
